The Knot Tassel Earring by Knots and Pipes.
These made in Canada drop earrings feature soft, lightweight tassels, crafted from materials recycled from a closed factory in Mississauga, ON. Because #landfilldiversion. Copper tassels are hand-wrapped in a light blue French embroidery cotton.
Prefer a less bold earring? Opt for the PETITE version of this stunning statement earring. BOLD measures approximately 9.5 cm in length, while the PETITE option clocks in at a subtler 7.5 cm. See the photograph depicting the difference between the two.
Choose between silver- or gold-plated posts; both options are hypoallergenic, safe for even the most sensitive ears.
Tassels are constructed from a rayon-blend fibre that doesn't fray. This prevents wispy strands and static fly-aways; ensuring a streamlined drop.
Knots and Pipes. Slow fashion produced in a garage-based workshop. All earrings are made-to-order. As such, please allow up to one week for production, (in addition to the free Canada-wide shipping). Be sure to review production and delivery policies if you require your earrings by a specific date. Rush orders can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Knots and Pipes is an atelier-style studio based in Hamilton, Ontario. Here industrial materials are fused with multi-generational leather, wool and rope crafting skills. The small-batch production process, combined with an aesthetic eye ensures that each piece is handcrafted with care and attention to detail.
A portion of each sale at Knots and Pipes is reinvested into the Women Economic Empowerment Program (W.E.E.P) at Living Positive Kenya. This grassroots organization is based in Ngong Town, Kenya. Here, HIV-positive women are provided with tangible skills and business plan, enabling them to care for their children financially. Because female entrepreneurs make the world go 'round!

Shipping Policies:
Knots and Pipes ships worldwide from Hamilton, ON, Canada.
North American orders are shipped via Canada Post, regular ground delivery. Shipments are not tracked.
Tracked shipping can be added to your order by selecting "Tracked Package" under upgraded shipping options. Tracking numbers for these orders will be provided upon shipment.
Once dispatched from the studio, the shipping timeline for domestic orders range from 5 to 7 business days. Timeline for orders shipped to the United States range from 7 to 15 business days. Canada Post does not guarantee these timelines.
Orders outside of North America are sent via Canada Post regular airmail. Delivery standards for your specific country can be found at www.canadapost.com
Please note: Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import taxes, duties and customs fees, which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Given the made-to-order and small-batch production mantra at our studio, production on orders can take up to 1 week. This is in addition to the shipping timeline. We offer rush orders for a small fee. Please send us a message to discuss details if this is something that you are interested in.

Returns and exchanges are handled on a case by case basis, within 5 days of receiving your order. Return shipping to K&P is the responsibility of the customer.

Care Instructions
Pearls come from the water- and actually benefit from the natural oils on your skin. Wipe clean with a soft cloth before storing them. To prevent cracks or scratches avoid air-tight containers (they need to breathe!) or jam-packed jewelry boxes.
Remove your jewelry before exercising or showering in order to prevent the gold from tarnishing. A square care cloth has been included with each order. Use this to clean only the gold on your jewelry, as the cloth has been treated specifically for metals.
